Sekhou and Éva's look

We weren't surprised to learn that this pair of friends were models and actors.

Éva, who was assumed to be Slavic, was in reality a perfect Kabyle, Mongolian and Spanish “mix”! Arriving in Paris at 16, her beginnings were not easy.

“At first,” says this pretty, leggy girl, “it was very hard, I lived with my best friend in 9m2, then I started taking photos and then I met my artistic agent.” “She trusted me and in October I landed my first role in a short film (Caillou by Mathilde Poymiro),” says the actress who admires David Lynch, Federico Fellini and Andreï Tarkovsky. When it comes to fashion, she only dresses in thrift stores.

Sekhou is inspired by the 1970s and 1980s. The era of his idol, the Nigerian musician Fela Anukulapo Kuti, the singer, saxophonist, conductor and politician. Whose young man inherited the spirit of an agitator and a very sixties wardrobe.

Of Senegalese and Sierra Leonean parents, Sekhou was destined to be an imam, like his father and grandfather. But the young man trained in musical comedy at the Opéra-comique chose his own path: “It will be modeling, theater, singing, contemporary dance and later a marriage with a Malian! », says with mischief the young man who we saw in the Céline, Kitsuné, Louis Vuitton and Isabelle Marant campaigns.
