CLAIRE
Development Director at Webedia
In the world before, the mask was not very popular. It must be said that in Western cultures hiding one's face is at best a sign of a masquerade, at worst a desire to conceal.
Not long ago, we would have laughed if we had been told that the mask was going to become an essential accessory.
Yet here we are, at the time of chasing looks, very deprived…. but luck smiles on us and we meet friends grouped together in Rue Vieille du Temple: be careful, there are less than ten of them and they respect good physical distancing!
Among them, Claire and her American shepherd Osiris (like the mythical god or king of ancient Egypt).
The latter is, according to his mistress – or should I say his mother – the prince of the neighborhood… all the female dogs are in love with him.
This web talent developer (Cyprien, Norman, Squeezie, Natoo, Mamytwink, Joueur du attic, Hugo tout soi, Le Rire Jaune etc.) has lived in the Marais for six years where she chose to live for the atmosphere. That of the time when bars and restaurants were always open, always welcoming.
In the streets of the Marais which are slowly but surely beginning to fill up, this declaration of love sounds like a bird song welcoming the return of spring.

The look of Ufo, Jeff and Juno
Le Marais is the district of encounters and chance. At the turn of a street, we come across beings with unique character and beauty. Here we are in front of Jeff, a DJ, model and graphic designer. NOW ON
THE MOOD MARSH
Divine brunch at the foot of Notre-Dame
Of course, officially, it is not the Marais. But at Son de la Terre, a barge recently moored at the Montebello quay (5th), the 4th arrondissement is in sight. Moreover, this one is incredible: on one side, it is Notre-Dame flooded with sunlight; on the other, the quays, the book sellers, the walkers, the joggers.
Saka, a cocktail bar like in Tokyo
Here is an address which gives the measure of the transformation of the Marais. And it's enough to silence the grumpy people whose mantra is: “It was better before…” No, everything was not better “before” in the Marais. Besides, there was no American bar like Saka, which cultivates a form of excellence that can only be found in Japan.
Jazz at 38Riv: The highlights of May
The only jazz club in the Marais, 38Riv is the temple of cool and swing. Rue de Rivoli, between Saint-Paul and Hôtel de Ville, its vaulted cellars are the home base of the new jazz scene. Every evening, the magic happens.
