The young brand offers accessible, eco-responsible and futuristic sweaters. WE love.

It is a legendary address on a historic street. The FROM FUTURE brand, recently installed in the walls of the former Jo Goldenberg restaurant, rue des Rosiers, therefore plays aptly on nostalgia with its decorum straight from a postcard “made in Le Marais”.
But as its name suggests, this young brand of cashmere sweaters is also looking into the future with its futuristic vision of responsible, original and accessible fashion.

“Combining vestiges of the past, top quality clothing and absolute modernity, FROM FUTURE is honored to participate in the perpetuation of a place imbued with meaning and history,” says the brand.

In the window: a variation of sweaters that mix noble and delicate materials, such as cashmere and silk. Their “pop” colors dynamite the codes of the boring and ageless good basic.

At the heart of the women's, men's and children's collections: an assortment of plain and two-tone sweaters from €99, hoodies with imperative messages (€179), cable knit cardigans (€179) and jogging bottoms (€149). ) easy to wear, layer, mix.

For those who are more cautious: scarves (€99) and hats (€39 to €49) which stand out for their astonishing colors.

3 Belgian addresses in the Marais

3 Belgian addresses in the Marais

Whether they are Walloons or Flemish, the French love the Belgians for their energy and their communicative good humor. Here are some Belgian addresses firmly established in the Marais.

The Top 3 jewelry stores/workshops

The Top 3 jewelry stores/workshops

Le Marais, where jewelry was already made under the Ancien Régime, remains faithful to tradition. Look closely: almost every street has one or more jewelry stores. If only for the pleasure of the eyes, you must stop in front of their window to appreciate this French know-how inherited from previous centuries.

Topology, accessories designed for adventure

Topology, accessories designed for adventure

An accessories store, Topologie was created by Carlos Granon, a Frenchman based in Hong Kong, and Go Urano, a Japanese from Tokyo, two childhood friends who are passionate about climbing. After having been distributed at Merci, Fleux and elsewhere in Paris, their products are now sold in their own flagship store which has just opened...

Divine brunch at the foot of Notre-Dame

Divine brunch at the foot of Notre-Dame

Of course, officially, it is not the Marais. But at Son de la Terre, a barge recently moored at the Montebello quay (5th), the 4th arrondissement is in sight. Moreover, this one is incredible: on one side, it is Notre-Dame flooded with sunlight; on the other, the quays, the book sellers, the walkers, the joggers.

Saka, a cocktail bar like in Tokyo

Here is an address which gives the measure of the transformation of the Marais. And it's enough to silence the grumpy people whose mantra is: “It was better before…” No, everything was not better “before” in the Marais. Besides, there was no American bar like Saka, which cultivates a form of excellence that can only be found in Japan.

Jazz at 38Riv: The highlights of May

Jazz at 38Riv: The highlights of May

The only jazz club in the Marais, 38Riv is the temple of cool and swing. Rue de Rivoli, between Saint-Paul and Hôtel de Ville, its vaulted cellars are the home base of the new jazz scene. Every evening, the magic happens.
