For a moment – but only for a moment – you have the impression of having entered the Vieux Campeur, the historic shop of hikers and mountaineers, on the left bank. An accessories store, Topologie was created by Carlos Granon, a Frenchman based in Hong Kong, and Go Urano, a Japanese from Tokyo, two childhood friends who are passionate about climbing.
After having been distributed at Merci, Fleux and elsewhere in Paris, their products are now sold in their own flagship which has just opened on rue du Temple (the store was designed by the Keiji Takeuchi Design Office studio) in the historic wholesale district Chinese, in the middle of the Marais.
