Temperatures rising to 50°C are one of the threats looming almost everywhere on the planet, particularly in cities.

Paris will not escape it, which is why in the Marais, from Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 November, the Climate Academy with the Human Adaptation Institute invites us to experience these extreme temperatures.

It is inside Climate Sense, a 50°C cabin that immerses you in extreme temperatures, that we become aware of the impacts of global warming on daily life.

Which makes us understand that global warming is not 2 or 3° more, like in Corsica or the Antilles, it is rather like being in a furnace with radical consequences on human health and the environment.

An experiment proposed by the Human Adaptation Institute, a center founded by Christian Clot. The strong point of the Human Adaptation Institute's studies is that they are carried out in real situations, with scientists.

They demonstrate that people do not want to change their behavior until they emotionally feel the climate disruption. Despite the heat waves, they have difficulty making the connection with the climate in the long term and tend to quickly forget its effects.

And are you ready to work on the reality of the change that we have to face?
