Since its emergence in 2017 in Marseille, the Maraboutage collective has worked to bewitch minds and set dance floors ablaze.
All versatile, the members of this crew lead their audience into insane DJ sets, infused with Afro and Latino influences. Their intoxicating dances, from twerk to krump to voguing, transform each event into a unique celebration, where the extravagance of its members and their costumes compete with the power of the choreography.

But Maraboutage is much more than just a festive celebration. It is a true declaration of intention for the defense of a “safe space”, a caring place where everyone can be fully themselves without fear of judgment. The fight against intolerance is carried out ardently, through the evocative power of dance.
The contagious euphoria that grips the public and the members of the collective has to be seen to be believed. Together they transcend the boundaries of the performing arts, elevating the celebration to a new level of artistic expression.
This Friday, on the dancefloor of the great Halle du Carreau du Temple, Maëlle Chabrillat, Maryam Kaba, Barak Nadhamou, and Marie Khane Tomei as well as Benjamin Clément and Geoffrey Langlet, on the decks, will provide a show of crazy energy, for a “ Total maraboutage.”
