At the Eiffel Tower, we turn around (tip: the smart ones book the night cruise to see the Grande Dame twinkle on the hour). Then we go against the current. In the meantime, the captain has served us a glass of champagne (you can also bring your own drinks). We glide past the Académie française and under countless bridges (21 to be exact), we greet the other boats and the National Assembly, we brush past Notre-Dame and leave the islands of La Cité and Saint-Louis to port. And it's almost over.
In front of the Arab World Institute, last tack. After ninety minutes we dock again at the foot of the Pont Marie. Was it great? No, it was better than that. Was it too short? Yes, a thousand thunders, but there is a two-hour version that goes all the way to the Statue of Liberty! Will we come back? It's obvious, Brest thunder!
