Why bother going to Wepler or La Coupole, when there is P'tit Mousse? Both an oyster bar and a fish restaurant, this address on Rue Rambuteau advantageously replaces the Parisian brasseries on Place Clichy and Boulevard Montparnasse.
To form a conviction, it's very simple: you just need to know that the seafood platter is super fresh and tasty like in Brittany or Oléron. This is the essential thing and we owe it to the boss, Thierry Lambert, who spent a good part of his career in fish and shellfish restaurants: L'Alsace (on the Champs-Élysées), Chasse-Marée (Avenue Mozart) or the Oyster Bar.

As for oysters, there is a spoiled choice between Gillardeau No. 3 and No. 5, Joséphine No. 3, Irish No. 3 and other Special No. 1 Gold Medals raised in Normandy. . As for fish, we enjoy a string-smoked Scottish salmon, “validated” by our table neighbors, Swedes who, in this matter, are connoisseurs. There are also sea urchins, crabs, langoustines and even lobsters. Special mention to the scallop carpaccio with Espelette pepper.

In short, we enjoy ourselves and, above all, we feel good in this establishment decorated like a fisherman's cabin from the Arcachon basin or the Thau pond. Seafood or fish are washed down with a good quality Sancerre or Sauvignon. During a meal, we felt like we were at the seaside.
