In the heart of Ile Saint-Louis, Majoula perpetuates naturopathy and ancestral rituals of West Africa: massages and shamanic treatments passed down from mother to daughter in a lineage of female healers.

Her skilled hands, honed by generations of knowledge, heal the body without artifice. Thus, through the sheer power of touch, she knows how to activate circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system, release tension (especially emotional) to stop compensating, and free up tension while reshaping the silhouette.

The Dikiro treatment is an hour and a half in three stages. First, a deep massage with specific pressures – in Mandinka, "diki" means to press with intention. Using shea butter and oils rich in essential nutrients, Majoula performs a lymphatic drainage massage whose targeted movements release muscle tension, free energy blockages, and stimulate circulation. Then comes the fumigation: a decoction of medicinal plants and purifying herbs envelops the body and soothes the soul. Finally, a warm towel, applied to the body, deeply relaxes the fibers and prolongs the beneficial effect.

More than just a massage, dikiro harmonizes yin and yang, expelling "negative energy." You leave feeling light, centered, with smooth skin and the sense of having experienced a rare moment.

Nihdyia spa
“Our ancestors healed ailments with their hands alone,” recounts Majoula, custodian of this intangible treasure. Hailing from Mandinka communities (Mali, Guinea, Senegal), these medicine women treated fevers, pain, fatigue, and spiritual imbalances. Now urbanized, the ritual adapts without betraying its essence: plant oils, original gestures, pure intention. Ideal for banishing modern stress and regenerating the body.
In addition to the Dikiro ritual (1 hour 30 minutes, €120), Majoula offers Leggäl therapy, which gently breaks down the fatty deposits responsible for the orange peel appearance and improves skin elasticity. This highly effective 1 hour 30 minute massage, performed using maderotherapy tools, is another option. A prenatal treatment (1 hour 10 minutes, €60), the Sindada treatment, and a foot treatment (60 minutes) complete the rituals offered at this small African spa, which invites you on a sensory journey towards primal health.
