Millet
takes us to the heights

Pushing the door of the Millet store in the Marais is already arriving in the mountains. A reference in technical and minimalist outdoor clothing, reliable, durable and adaptable, the Chamonix brand was born in Annecy, and is proven and certified in Chamonix.

Founded a century ago, it has long proven its worth: in 1950, it was the company that equipped the expedition of Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal in Annapurna, the first 8000 meter peak climbed in the Himalayas.

On two floors, Millet displays the full range of its know-how – which, incidentally, is also aimed at urbanites who love high-end sportswear. The ground floor is devoted to clothing for mountaineering, hiking, climbing, trail running or skiing. From ventilated t-shirts to waterproof jackets, fleeces and small, ultra-light down jackets, there's everything.
On the lower floor are high performance technical shoes (mountaineering, hiking, climbing, trail), backpacks, sleeping bags, gloves, caps & underwear.
Committed to sustainable development, the family brand has adapted its economic model to reduce its environmental impact by working on five areas of improvement corresponding to five themes: climate change, circular economy, pollution, diversity, social commitment. Quality is also that!

May 26, 2024 is Mother's Day

On this occasion, young and old celebrate their mother with a phone call, a gift, a bouquet of flowers. Mamas are celebrated all over the world and in most countries in the month of May. It is wrongly believed that this celebration dates from the dark Pétain years when he only rehabilitated it to make it a liturgical celebration...
