For Easter 2025, the egg hunt in the Marais district is going urban, travel-friendly, and decidedly arty. We sampled the creations of five of the most creative chocolatiers on the Parisian scene. They all offer a taste and visual adventure.
Fauchon

FAUCHON Easter Egg
Spring is entering the window displays with a jewel and a tribute to one of the architectural symbols of our country. Inspired by the delicate lines of French gardens, the eggs are hand-painted in poetic shades of green, combining indulgence and elegance.
Under the shell, a trilogy of animal fries in milk, dark and white chocolate, which we enjoy in this ode to refinement.
In milk chocolate or dark chocolate version
– Small 100g format: €28
– Large format of 190 g: €52
You can also treat yourself to a gourmet trio (the traditional bag of chocolate eggs). The first is made of dark chocolate, hazelnut praline, and fleur de sel caramel chips. The second is made of milk chocolate, Valencia almond praline, and the last is made of milk chocolate, Piedmont hazelnut praline.
– To share or not: €16

La Maison du Chocolat

Chocolate Easter Egg from La Maison du Chocolat
La Maison du Chocolat plays the score of graphic chic. Its faceted egg, alternating smooth and ridged facets, is adorned with the signature checkerboard pattern. Entirely hand-molded in successive layers of chocolate, the interior is generously sprinkled with roasted hazelnut shards. To die for!
In milk chocolate or dark chocolate version
– The 320g piece – Garnished with 8 praline fritters: €57
We also love the Easter bunny emerging from a chocolate tumbler topped with praline fritters. As usual, every detail is mastered, from the molding to the final shine. We also learn that it's shaped by hand, layer upon layer, polished with a silk brush.
– The small 110g – Milk chocolate only – Filled with 4 fries: €28
– The large 320g – Milk or dark chocolate – Filled with 17 fries: €45

Yann Roofer

Milk chocolate egg (M) filled with pistachio (Dubai chocolate)
At Yann Couvreur, the fox, a mischievous mascot, is featured on the shell of a “Dubai Chocolate” M Egg: pistachio praline, kadaïf (angel hair) shards, a nod to the current Dubai trend.
– 215g Dubai chocolate egg (M): €39
There's also a more classic version, an egg covered in hazelnut praline, reminiscent of a delicious fried egg. The whole thing is bold and delicious; it must be said that we expected nothing less from this chocolate-making pastry chef.
