Music Festival in the Marais, photo: Le Marais Mood

Le Marais has never been a neighborhood like any other. For Music Week 2025, the Marais is transformed into an open-air laboratory, a veritable sounding board, and every cutting-edge address, bistro, gallery, club, or bookstore, a potential stage.

Du 16 to 21 June, the indie planet sets up shop between walls steeped in history and arty neon lights, for an edition that promises to be a real standout.

First of all, there's a lot of diversity: jazz at the Cognacq-Jay Museum, psychedelic flamenco at the Picasso Museum, Scandinavian pop at the Swedish Institute, DIY electro in backyards, and even magical happenings at the Forney Library.

As they do almost every year, the National Archives will host an exceptional concert featuring young talent in a historic setting, offering an immersive classical music experience in an extraordinary setting. At the Shoah Memorial, preceded by the Parisian duo Chenji & KaeL, the Marx Sisters will host a free concert, adding a touch of klezmer music to the program.

But the real secret of the Marais is this organized chaos where families, night owls, haggard tourists and local kids cross paths, all caught up in the same energy.

Music Week 2025 is an opportunity to see a neighborhood reinvent itself live, between heritage and avant-garde, and to remind us that Paris, when it gets going, still knows how to make hearts beat.

So, forget the headphones: this week, the streets are the soundtrack, and the Marais, more lively than ever, is establishing itself as the true nerve center of the capital.
