There is something of a guest house at Griffon, this new address which welcomes a hybrid place, at the same time café, bar and restaurant, cleverly arranged with spaces conducive to confidence.
Opened in January at “Ma Tante”, nickname of Crédit municipal, this coffee shop seems to have a bright future.
It must be said that the owners brought here the know-how that they deployed in their eight other addresses in Paris, in the suburbs or in the provinces (la Bellevilloise, la Rotonde Stalingrad, la Petite Halle, le Poinçon, etc.)
A clever mix of a club with vintage furniture and a restaurant with bohemian codes, we appreciate the welcome, the subdued lighting and the homemade Mediterranean-inspired dishes: carrot soup (€6,50), sandwich of per week (€10), quinoa salad and grilled chicken (€12), quiche (€10,50), craft beers and live wines.
Another surprise: you can, without waiting for sunny days, enjoy a 70 m2 terrace dotted with green plants and old signs – a clever nod to those exhibited at the nearby Carnavalet Museum.

Oysters and fish: P'tit Mousse knows his job
Why bother going to Wepler or La Coupole, when there is P'tit Mousse? Both an oyster bar and a fish restaurant, this address on Rue Rambuteau advantageously replaces the Parisian brasseries on Place Clichy and Boulevard Montparnasse.
