The Honey Ball
and an oriental twist
Hidden behind an ice cream counter at Boule au miel, there is a pretty room that gives the place a trattoria feel on the Amalfi Coast.
Here's a new address that will be important for food lovers.
Placed opposite its older sister, the legendary Chez Marianne where fans of Mediterranean and Eastern European cuisine can taste pastrami, falafels, smoked salmon, oriental delicacies.
Their secret? Italian quality – Bronte pistachio, Piedmont hazelnut, Tahitian vanilla – with a twist of oriental accents. Gazelle horns in ice cream, sun-dried Iranian lemon mixed with Vietnamese calamansi (lemon slices, to die for!), rose petals and ultra-refreshing Turkish delight.
La Boule au miel's signature treat? A brioche filled with pistachio or chocolate-orange ice cream, topped with kataifi pastry and crispy gianduja. Interchangeable with Marianne's other dishes – from the same house – the ice creams complement the surrounding cuisine.
Marble tables, waffles, hot chocolate: the atmosphere invites you to linger. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: creamy, surprising, generous. A place well worth a visit.
