Empreintes
Concept store
French arts and crafts
Nestled in the heart of the Marais district, near the Marché des Enfants-Rouges, Empreintes is much more than a concept store; it is a vibrant tribute to French craftsmanship.
In this temple of creation, each object tells a story of transformation and know-how.
From delicate vases to bold sculptures, pieces of furniture, tableware and contemporary jewelry, Empreintes offers an eclectic and refined selection.
Materials reign supreme: paper, stoneware, leather, but also more surprising materials such as horsehair or straw, are transformed under the expert hands of craftsmen.
Each creation, whether unique or in small series, is an ode to poetry and innovation. Empreintes is an invitation to (re)discover French artistic craftsmanship in all its diversity and modernity.
On the 2nd floor of the building, the IMPRINTS gallery, dedicated to contemporary crafts, offers the works of a dozen artists of the material, accompanied for 1 year, compared to 4 months on the boutique floors.
Here are a few that can currently be found upstairs in the gallery, for the 2025-2026 cycle:
• Jonathan Ausseresse As a glass artist, he composes volumes where layers of glass interact, revealing variations in transparency, color, and depth.
• Emmanuelle Musset : the young ceramist develops a work at the crossroads of utilitarian object and sculpture, to which she sometimes associates glass.
• Candice Aubert-Dhô As a textile artist, she hand-weaves unique wall pieces where wool interacts with ceramics, wood, rope or paper.
