In the historic streets of the Marais, behind the behemoths Perrotin, Mariane Goodman, Nathalie Obadia, Suzanne Tarasieve, Galleria Continua and Ceysson & Bénétière... numerous galleries organize exhibitions, performances and openings, showcasing the diversity of the current art scene.

Photography, painting, sculpture, installations: the 2025 edition innovates with 150 artists, 8 thematic routes, from established names to emerging talents, invest the spaces, abolishing the boundaries between collectors, curious people and strollers.

But the Marais isn't just about its flagship galleries and private mansions transformed into temples of contemporary art. Along the streets, there are also intimate spaces, sometimes tucked away in a cobbled courtyard or behind a discreet window, offering an artistic experience on a human scale, far from the hustle and bustle of major openings.

Many of them focus on the avant-garde and experimentation, revealing young talents and hybrid practices, perfect playgrounds for collectors in search of discoveries and for all those who wish to engage directly with the artists.

Even though this event concerns different districts of Paris, we note that although there is a significant concentration of galleries in the 8th arrondissement (Matignon, Place Vendôme), Left Bank in Saint-Germain, in the North-east of the capital (Belleville and Saint-Ouen) it is incontestably in the Marais that the galleries are more numerous to participate in this celebration of contemporary art.

Which proves, if proof were needed, that the Marais (3rd and 4th arrondissements of Paris) maintains its difficult-to-contest leading position in this Parisian creative profusion.
