Lytfa Kujawski workshop: a proven method
In the heart of the Marais, 50 meters from the Picasso museum, the Atelier Lyfta Kujawski (or ALK) has more than fifty years of history behind it. Created in 1968 by Suzanne Berland, educator, and Jerzy Kujawski, painter, it was taken over in 1996 by their daughter Lytfa Kujawski, who now works with her son Martin.
The ambition of this address with its lavender blue storefront, rue de Thorigny, is simple: “To allow everyone, children, adolescents and adults, to express themselves, develop their creativity and gain self-confidence. » To do this, ALK relies on a proven method: the works produced on site are not shown to anyone before the end of the year, not even the parents who have registered their offspring here.
The idea is to avoid external interference that can influence creators – especially children and adolescents – and limit their creativity in one direction or another. This is how apprentice artists maximize their potential, whether it is drawing, painting, collage or modeling or this work on clay.
The equipment is provided. Prices for children: 774 euros per year. Adult prices: 945 euros per year or 345 euros for 11 weekly 2-hour lessons (excluding school holidays). Trial lesson: 30 euros.
