BIBoVINo: the wine is in the box

With its double exposure, on the rue Charlot side and on the Enfants-Rouges market side, it's impossible to miss this Marais boutique with the funny name: BiBoViNo. Ideally located, this brand known to those in the Marais and elsewhere does not sell cubitainers of “staining red” but on the contrary local and high-tradition wines packaged exclusively in Bag-in-Box® which is the modern version and chic of the good old “cubi”.

In fact, the house's Bag-in-Box®, or "Bib", contains quality wines, as close as possible to natural, selected by a great name, Bruno Quenioux. His approach, like that of CEO Simon Tran (who is a true Maraisien), is simple and sincere.

It comes down to a formula: the container does not make the content. Others would say, with the romantic poet Alfred de Musset: “What does the bottle matter as long as we get drunk!” » In fact, it is quite simply a matter of adopting without prejudice the best of modernity, while respecting tradition.

With the aim of giving credentials to a still little-known packaging, Simon Tran praises its merits: “The wines are better preserved thanks to the vacuum principle, without the risk of being corked, for a month.

“For strictly equal quantity and quality, the selling price is reduced by 25 to 30%. And, last but not least, the carbon footprint of our BiBs is five times smaller than a 75 centiliter bottle, thanks to materials that have less impact on the environment and are easier to recycle than glass. »

Several big names in wine have been convinced by the BiBoViNo concept. With which their Côte-Rôtie, Pomerol and other condrieu are a real hit!
