The Paris Café Festival 2026: Grand Cru, Small Beans, Big Noise

In the Marais district, the 7th edition of the Paris Café Festival, this major gathering celebrating black coffee, will take place from April 11th to 13th, 2026 at the Carreau du Temple . Three days will be entirely dedicated to specialty coffee. The program includes tastings, masterclasses, latte art workshops, cupping sessions, competitions, and meetings with roasters, baristas, and coffee shops from France and beyond.

In France, a new coffee shop opens every week*. In our trendy neighborhood, these new-style bistros are proving very popular. Following the established names like Terres de Café, La Caféothèque, and Fringe, new establishments are now appearing , offering increasingly sophisticated offerings and an algorithmic approach to decor, all with ever more refined aesthetics. In just two years, the Marais district has seen around thirty of these places spring up, where specialty coffee is sold at premium prices.

This new edition confirms the festival as the major rendez-vous French coffee lovers, but also curious people who want to better understand the bean, extraction methods and different terroirs.

More than a hundred exhibitors are expected, including coffee and other hot beverage vendors, roasters, equipment to perfect your coffee (espresso machine, bean grinder, tamper, scale…) and activities designed to combine education, pleasure and discovery.

The highly popular event also emphasizes experiential learning, with latte art sessions, conferences, guided tastings, and even a breakfast championship. Monday is reserved for professionals, while the weekend remains open to the general public.

People come to the Paris Café Festival as much to drink good coffee as to explore a whole universe of gestures, know-how and initiatives around contemporary coffee cultivation.
