Imagine stepping through a screen into a film set in 1910s England, namely Downton Abbey. That's exactly the feeling you get when the savory appetizers arrive, served on three tiers of a silver mute servant, and accompanied by—your choice—hot or iced tea, a house tea cocktail with or without champagne. On the menu: canapés, one with Lord Grantham foie gras, the second with Thomas Secret poultry, and the last one an (excellent) 'Matcha-Yuzu' salmon scone, Lady Violet pomegranate almonds, named after the film's characters.

After this inventive prologue, the attentive waiters of the "manor" on rue du Bourg-Tibourg spoil us with aristocratic tea-flavored pastries whose names stretch out like particle nouns: Carson's madeleine with dark chocolate and Earl Grey bergamot, soft Victoria scone with matcha and ginger, Sybil's Beauty macaroon or even the Nuage d'Edith pavlova.

The highlight of this palace-worthy tea ceremony: the Rose in Love creation combines pistachio, rose, orange blossom, and Siam Rose blue tea on a crunchy praline and orange blossom gel. Like the rest, this dish is also original, refined, and delicious. Good Lord, we'll be back!
This beautiful experience is a gift to give or to yourself for €56 for 1 person, however there are other less expensive and almost as incredible formulas: the Beautiful tea at the same price and the Sweet dream at €36 for 1 person.
